Marlane,
As I am confident many congregations already have and will participate in the Book of Faith Initiative, Zion's, Old Zionsville and St. Peter's, Macungie will be joining forces using "Rediscovering the Book of Faith" as a three-lesson study through this Advent season.
Having been a critic of Augsburg Fortress of many, but not all, Christian education materials they have put forth in the past/present, I am pleased, very pleased with the material in this particular study. Although some might have some critique about certain pieces of artwork in the videos, overall the content is very accessible, the material itself seems as if it could be easily taught by either rostered or lay leaders. It has decent exercises for leading discussion and promoting community-building.
Overall, in Siskel & Ebert fashion, I give it two thumbs up.
